German-American Society
Coloring Contest
The German-American Society participated in the
Cultural Village section of
Unity in the Community, held at Riverfront Park in Spokane. This year Unity in
the Community
was held on August 20th.

This year the Society rolled out a brand new
coloring contest for the children.
The contestants were supposed to color a picture of Hans the soccer player from
Germany. The due date was September 15th. The first place winner won dinner
tickets
for them and their parents to one of the dinners at our hall and their picture
published on our website.
The original is hanging in our hall for all our members and guests to admire.
